Situated 26km from Fort Portal is the world’s primate capital ; Kibale forest. The park is home to over 1450 chimpanzees plus 12 other primates that include vervet monkeys, L’Hoest monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabey, red-tailed monkey, black & white colobus, baboons to mention but a few.
